Respecting nature and the outdoors forms the core of our program. We need to appreciate what is remaining of our natural resources and wilderness. We believe that as long as we respect nature it will continue to treat us well.

All adventure programs at the Outdoor School are built around the participants and aim at providing a safe environment for them, to feel both physically and psychologically comfortable. At camp we teach them to be RESPONSIBLE and use good judgment in wilderness training.

Preparation and Fitness: All programs and camps at THE OUTDOOR SCHOOL are built around the participants and strive to make them feel comfortable and HAVE FUN. Activities are not highly rigorous and do not demand very high levels of fitness but do bring along a positive attitude, willingness to try in the face of difficult challenges, a desire to learn and interact with the group and a spirit of co-operation.

Group size and Escorts: Our group size is small thus ensuring personal monitoring of each participant. The Student to escort ratio is 5:1.

Campsite Location: All camp locations are not very far from the city limits. We have a list of all medical centers close to camp. Also we carry basic first aid on the camp and all our instructors are trained in basic first aid.

First Aid: All our adventure personals are trained in Basic First Aid courses. During the Camps first aid kits are carried and the trainers are trained to give basic first aid immediately.

What to Carry:

  • Good Pair of Shoes
  • Sandals for Water
  • Clothes
  • Torch

Personal clothing and a few warm clothes are sufficient. For more detailed list please go through the print material provided with your enrollment kit.

All adventure gears and equipment are carried by the team. Our camping gears ensure that the participants are warm during the night. All equipments are checked and maintained regularly.

Food and Water: Food in the outdoors is served keeping in mind the calorie requirement of the participants. Since adventure sports is physically demanding the food we serve is highly nutritious and made in the best hygienic way possible. At all camps we carry our cooking unit with us. Food provided is vegetarian, fresh and wholesome keeping in mind the calorie requirement of the activities. Enough supply of clean drinking water is also carried.
