Wind Chasers
adventure tours have been a great experience in bonding with my
son. While participating in one of the camps, I not only learnt
a lot about connecting with nature, having a true sense of adventure
and survival in the wilderness, but also saw a new side of my child's
personality. It was not only endearing and nurturing, in many ways
it was a great learning experience in parenting too! I learnt to
LET GO! I also learnt about expectations our children have from
us parents!
Sending our 11 year old to an adventure camp with Meher, Maria and
Naveen Sir was one of the best decisions we made in parenting. He
grew up at camp , learnt to LET GO!, and also learnt a lot of survival
skills, had a true sense of the outdoor and adventure.
He made some good friends there, who are still in touch with him.
The 6 day experience at the Wayanad Camp showed us a new face of
his personality that was endearing and very heartening to know and
see.
I recommend this program at least once a year for a growing up teen!
Cheers! |

This camp was great!
I really enjoyed it. Wind Chasers means Chasing the Impossible and
at camp I felt that we were truly chasing the impossible. This is
because I never thought I could ever trek for 12 km's or climb a
mountain or cross rivers with ropes. I also loved the Kayaking and
everything else. The Red Hills Trek was really adventurous. I loved
pitching my tents and making new friends. My teachers and friends
never made me feel lonely. the teachers were like parents and took
care of all our needs. |

All the days that I spent in the camp were exciting.
I learnt many new things like making the camp, rappelling and
river crossing. We learnt how to conserve nature, save water and
overall the camp was good. I enjoyed my time here and would like
to come back next year. |

This camp was really rocking. It was at the moderate
level. The nights were really cold and the weather was at its extremes.
But it was loads of fun.The night trek was scary but good fun. We
got to live in the Tribal village of the Todas which had a different
tradition. The trek to the Red Hills was awesome and coming down
the hills was super fun. We played in the waterfalls and even did
aerial crossing. We went exploring the campsites and played so many
games. I also ate plums.
The camp was loads and loads of fun and I cant wait
for the other CAMPS!! |

The Summer Camp was very adventurous. We did alot
of trekking and I made it to the TOP. Rappelling was alot of fun
too and I enjoyed around the bonfire. I would not have got such
a chance to be independent and learn about the NATURE. Having down
kayaking I am not scared of water, doing river crossing I am not
scared of heights or climbing hills. I learnt to pitch tents and
use sleeping bags. Everyone was very nice, sharing and caring. In
the end we got certificates for our efforts and I really enjoyed
getting the award for BEST kayaking team. |

The camp was amazing and truly mind blowing. We had
alot of fun. It was not like Bangalore, it was very cold at night.
We had fun pitching tents and sleeping in sleeping bags and shivering
too. I also enjoyed the food cooked by our cook Babu. The campsites
were filled with dirt but it was fun. Kayaking was great fun and
got to go alone also. I had amazing fun aerial crossing though I
was scared in the beginning. We also went Rappelling on the last
day which was a bit scary yet fun. We had amazing fun together and
all the campsites were very scenic.
Will miss you guys and Will come back next year!! |

The experience was very exciting, it increases the
knowledge of the outdoors and the nature. It also gives you the
mental and physical strength. Even in conditions such as these,
in remote places the food is amazing. We slept in tents and ate
around the bonfire every night.
Overall I had a great Time!! |
