At
the Outdoor School Summer Camps we aim at providing a wholesome
and fun outdoor environment for all participants. The key factor
at our camp is "RESPECT the OUTDOORS".
The Camps
provise a plethora of adventure sports, which promise an exciting
summer camp!! Every activity aims at bringing out the wild and
adventureous side of the participants.
RAPPELLING
The art of climbing
down a mountain/rocks using ropes is called rappelling. Different
methods of rappelling can be Sling, Stomach and Shoulder Rappelling.
Different equipments such as carbines, nylon fiber ropes, descenders
etc are used. This technique is generally used for climbing down a
mountain with faster speed.
River
Crossing is Crossing the river from one bank to the other with
the help of ropes, carbines and pulley. The type's are Tyrolean
crossing, monkey crawl and dead mans crawl. This type of crossing
is done when the flow of the river is too high to be crossed
on foot.
The camp was amazing and truly mind blowing. We had alot of
fun. We had fun pitching tents and sleeping in sleeping bags and shivering
too.

Trekking
is all about enjoying the great outdoors while walking.It could
just be a day trip and return at night to your camp or an extensive
trek for 2 or more days with all camping materials with you and
camp under the stars.
ROCK CLIMBING
The
art of scaling rocks, using different techniques is called Rocking
climbing. Different equipments such as carbines, jummers, nylon
fiber ropes, descenders etc are used during Rock Climbing. Climbing
calls for mental and physical strength, flexibility, agility and
endurance .
CAMPING
Living
outdoors in a natural terrain is called Camping. It is living in
harmony with nature. Sleeping under the open the sky, cooking over
a fire and drinking fresh water from a stream are all facets of
camping outdoors. A fairly wonderful, easy and enjoyable activity
that can be done by all. Camping teaches you to survive ourdoors,
select ideal campsites and how Not To Leave a Trace Behind at your
campsite.
KAYAKING
It
is a sport of maneuvering, a canoe/kayak, across a river which
may be moving or stationary, the canoe is a long narrow water
craft with sharp ends, while a kayak is an eskimo canoe with a
shin cover on light frame work. Canoes fit in 2 persons, while
kayaks take one or two depending on the size.
